About Sue

I began my artistic career making intricate ceramic sculptures and lamps. My work revolved around fairy tales, popular street theatre and the ordinary, tea-drinkingness, of superheroes, and ogres. I populated my lamps with space age industrial fairies hexing Prince Charmings for lateness.

On the side I would sew and was often asked to make clothes, bridal wear and costume for friends. Eventually I became the costume mistress for Bill Brookman Productions where I worked for 10 years. I continue to work on occasional costume projects. I am currently doing a City & Guilds in textiles.
